Our Mission

The Ontario Employment Education & Research Centre (OEERC) is committed to improving public education and awareness on workplace legislation for all Ontario workers, as well as developing and implementing much-needed supports and strategies for workers who have experienced violations of their rights. Our work is guided by the principles of increasing accessibility and strengthening communities.

At the OEERC, we believe that the most effective public education and support on workplace issues happens at the grassroots level. Thus we deliver our programming utilizing the expertise of community organizations that have a proven record of developing and delivering accessible public education on workplace rights, as well as a commitment to the development of peer networks and community leaders to strengthen and extend the learning and support.
