This time of uncertainty surrounding the COVID-19 pandemic will impact students and their ability to maintain sufficient financial resources to continue their education. Many students rely on part-time or casual jobs outside of school. It’s an anxious time for all employees and businesses, but closures and slowdowns will also hit students hard; many will not have a safety net to rely on. The Foundation anticipates there will be a significant increase in requests for emergency bursaries and support. To meet this demand we are asking our donors to support emergency bursaries for students in the challenging weeks and months ahead.
