The Okotoks Branch Royal Canadian Legion Poppy Trust Fund provides direct support to veterans and their families in need, for such things as; accommodation, transportation, necessities of life, and medical and counselling assistance; provides education bursaries for children, grandchildren and great grandchildren of veterans; supports cadet units; maintains monuments; provides community services which benefit veterans and their families; promotes Remembrance through Poster and Literary Competitions in our schools and underpins regular Remembrance Services while supporting Funeral Services for Veterans.
