About OKOTOKS FOOD BANK ASSOCIATION
Since 1985, the Okotoks Food Bank Association has been supporting individuals and families experiencing food insecurity in our community. Led by a volunteer Board of Directors and a small team of dedicated staff, our organization is strengthened by the commitment of more than 220 volunteers who generously give their time and talents to help others.
We provide a range of nutritious food items and other essential household staples. Through our food assistance programs, food rescue initiatives, and community partnerships, we work to ensure that local families have access to the support they need during challenging times.
As a registered charitable organization operating under the Societies Act, we are able to issue charitable tax receipts for eligible donations. Our work is made possible through the support of local churches, businesses, community organizations, and individual donors who contribute through food drives, financial gifts, and volunteer service.
For more than 40 years, the Okotoks Food Bank has been committed to providing food, dignity, and hope while building a stronger, more caring community for everyone.
