Voices of Olympia Canada is a global citizenship learning - based initiative that offers a school competition open to secondary school girls
Voices of Olympia Canada (VOOC) is a global citizenship learning-based initiative. Through a yearly school competition, we offer a safe and informed discussion space where high school girls in Canada grow as critical thinkers, reflecting on the central theme of gender inequalities and its impact on the empowerment of girls and women, using a dual perspective of human rights and social justice.
This year, our participants are reflecting on “How Artificial Intelligence can accelerate gender equality and contribute to the empowerment of girls and women in Canada.” On March 2216, they will be presenting their findings at the Parallel Events Forum that links Civil Society (NGO-CSW) to the UN Commission on the Status of Women (UN CSW 70). Our participants will share their perspectives on AI in Education, Health, Safety, and Information control.
