On Site Placement Services assists people with disabilities to create career paths.On Site works with individuals who have a health barrier to employment - including diabetes, arthritis, deaf and hard of hearing, depression, ADHD, MS, intellectual disability, blindness and visual impairment and any other health barrier to employment. On Site works with employers to find the right person for the job - and to provide assistance to make the experience a success for the client and the employer. Services are free to clients and employers.
About ON SITE PLACEMENT SERVICES ASSOCIATION
On Site is a non-profit, charitable agency assisting people with disabilities to find employment - through workshops, job search, one-on-one training, coaching, and support. The agency has been serving the Edmonton region since 1981 and currently has a staff of 29.
On Site hosts the Links Centre (similar to a Canada Alberta Service Centre) to provide those with disabilities the opportunity to use computers and other resources that are adapted to meet their needs. The Burke Temporary Employment Agency serves employers that require temporary workers for a variety of duties, such as flyer delivery, light janitorial, dishwashing, sign shaking, product assembly, sidewalk snow removal, lawn maintenance, and filing.
