Our Mission

One Child's Village (OCV) is a non-governmental, non-religious charitable organization providing assistance to the children of our global community. Our goal is to improve the quality of life of disadvantaged children in developing nations by creating and supporting the conditions necessary for their physical, emotional, mental and spiritual well-being.

About ONE CHILD'S VILLAGE

One Child's Village was built on the belief that it takes a village to raise a child. We partner with local community leaders to provide support for the raising of children. We reaffirm the inherent right of children to have an education, proper healthcare, food and clothing, a safe environment, and a secure family and community life that would enable them to grow up in and contribute to their community and the world in a productive and compassionate way.

Each donation is directed towards a particular village and project. We promote volunteers into Champions of their own special projects. We have many projects and various ways for the global community to assist and get engaged.

We invest in today's children, as they are the leaders of tomorrow.

One Child's Village was first incorporated in Alberta, Canada in November 2005 and received Federal Charitable Non-Governmental Organization status in July 2006. OCV is a registered Canadian Charity with Canada Revenue Agency (815788476 RR0001).
