The ONE City Scholarship -- created by educators to support graduating TDSB students from EVERY neighbourhood heading to post-secondary.
The ONE City Scholarship Fund is an initiative of the The ONE City Education Society of Toronto. The scholarship was created by a group of Toronto District School Board educators to support remarkable students in their post-secondary studies, students who are marginalized and from underserved communities, who have excelled academically despite considerable obstacles.
We asked ourselves and everyone else:
“What if these young people were seen and given the opportunity to shine?"
"What if they had the backing that many other young people have, even when they stumble?"
Our goal is to build a more inclusive city that supports the talent of students from every neighbourhood. Toronto needs these extraordinary young people to flourish and we can remove barriers to ensure that they do!
