Baking cookies, enjoying holiday cards and curling up with a book in front of the fire – these are just a few things that reading opens the door to.
It’s easy to forget that reading is so much more than being able to read books at school; there’s a whole world out there that is closed to struggling young readers. A world of magic, make-believe and never-ending knowledge.
At ONE TO ONE, struggling young readers are paired with a volunteer tutor to read in an environment where it's okay to take risks, make mistakes, and learn at their own pace.
