Home and community support services can help if you, or someone you care about, can't function independently because of a disability, illness or limitation due to aging. You can live at home in your own community, assisted by caring, friendly, professional staff and well-trained volunteers.
OCSA is the voice of home and community support, representing hundreds of agencies, 25,000 staff and 100,000 volunteers across Ontario. Annually, these volunteers donate over 2.8 million hours of service. We work with our members to ensure that issues which affect community services are heard and addressed by government policy makers, other health organizations, the media and the general public. Our independent research and innovation division, the Elevate Impact Hub, shares research that gives home and community care providers, planners, and policy-makers evidence-based insights to deliver the best care today and the healthiest tomorrow.
