The Mission of the Osgoode Youth Association (O-YA) is to enrich the quality of life for youth ages 7 – 18 in the Osgood Ward of rural Ottawa. We are dedicated to harnessing the community to deliver a rich variety of programs and services aimed at prevention, education, skill building, inspiration, socialization and recreation; supporting young people in their development as successful, independent and involved citizens.Not only is O-YA the envy of other Ottawa area rural communities, but at a recent Youth Centre’s Canada National Conference, it was recognized as one of the standout youth centres in all of Canada. Mayor Watson calls O-YA the "gold standard of youth centres in Ottawa". Plus:

- In 2015, O-YA's Program Coordinator Carley Scharf won the Ottawa Child & Youth Initiative's Engaged and Active Award
- In 2016, O-YA won the Provincial YouthREX Youth Sector Excellence Award! O-YA won for exemplifying a commitment to improving youth well being by engaging in an evaluation journey that is learning-focused, youth engaged and uses contextualized evaluation methods
