EASTER/THANKSGIVING/CHRISTMAS MEALS CAMPAIN
In effort to provide meals for vulnerable families who would otherwise spend Easter, Thanksgiving, and Christmas holidays without a meal. Ottawa 2 Rwanda is partnering with local Churches to provide chickens to these families ahead of time.
We are doing a pilot project in one village. We will provide 240 chickens worth $1920 cad. After one year, we will export lessons learnt to other families in need.
Each chicken costs $8, it starts to provide eggs within one months. These eggs help feed the families with an estimated $1.40/month worth of eggs.
