Silver Spring Studio

The Silver Spring Studio is raising funds to create a vibrant outdoor creative arts sensory space and eco garden—a place where nature, creativity, and community come together. This project will transform our outdoor area into an inclusive, hands-on environment designed to inspire learning, connection, and well-being.

Participants will have the opportunity to learn how to grow food, explore sustainable gardening practices, and deepen their understanding of local ecosystems. Through guided activities, they will help cultivate pollinator-friendly habitats and support the growth of indigenous plant species, contributing to a healthier and more resilient environment.

Beyond gardening, the space will serve as a creative hub where art and nature intersect. Participants will engage their senses through outdoor art experiences and use the harvest to prepare simple, nourishing meals—building practical skills and fostering a deeper appreciation for where food comes from.

This initiative is about more than a garden. It is a commitment to dismantling barriers that separate people with disabilities and non-disabled people, and to building a more inclusive, equitable community—one where people of all abilities can learn, create, and grow side by side, sharing knowledge and experiences as equals.
