People with disabilities experience marginalization a variety of spectrums in life. Limited access to adequate housing, barriers to accessing community and business services, prejudice about their employment abilities and being denied opportunities to participate in social and justice issues. This needs to change; we need work on breaking down the system barriers and biases and focus on their assets and rights as citizens of our community. We focus on achieving measurable results by removing barriers and incrementally building the knowledge, skills, confidence and independence of people with disabilities. We do not limit who we work with based on the type of disability, we believe everyone has the passion, assets and potential to live life to “their” fullest. We are only limited by what we believe is possible!
