The ORCC provides free feminist counselling, support groups, and accompaniment/advocacy for all self-identified women, gender non- conforming, and gender fluid survivors who have experienced sexual violence. We are a pro-active, anti-racist, feminist organization working to end all forms of sexual violence through support, education and advocacy.
About the ORCC
Since 1974 we have developed into a community leader in the pursuit to eliminate sexual violence and creating safe communities for all. More people are feeling able to address this issue traditionally silenced, this means more people request education or support services. Please help us meet this demand by making a charitable gift to ORCC.
Through education, empowerment and free one-to-one and group counselling - the ORCC serves to support women and rally the community around the issues of sexual violence and feminism. This may include: sexual assault, rape, childhood sexual assault/abuse, incest, sexual harassment and ritualized abuse. We also provide services to family, friends, and partners/spouses of those who have been sexually assaulted.
ORCC delivers trainings to organizations, schools, and the public about issues like: consent, healthy relationships and dating, boundary setting, feminst support and rape culture, media literacy and cyberviolence, bystander intervention, how to be a good support person, sexual harassment, and other topics upon request.
