Our Lady of Guadalupe Home is the only residence for women in crisis pregnancy for more than 150 km. We are here to support future and new moms and their babies on the journey to motherhood. Our mothers learn to nurture and care for their babies in the atmosphere of a home, and have the opportunity to continue their education.
Our home encourages personal growth for mothers in learning to love, nurture and care for their new babies:
-by providing a safe haven and support for mothers and pregnant women who have no place to go
-by assisting with the development of skills needed to be good mothers; hands-on learning in a supportive home environment
-by supporting and fostering healthy habits for mother and baby: spiritual, emotional and physical
-by providing opportunity and support for continued education, making financial independence possible

"Sweeter even than to have had the joy of children of my own has it been for me to help bring about a better state of things for mothers generally, so that their unborn little ones could not be willed away from them."

"Being pregnant was very much like falling in love. You are so open...so overjoyed... no words ... can express having a baby growing inside of you,...you want to scream it out and tell everyone. (...hearing her unborn baby’s heartbeat) was the most beautiful music I ever heard in my life.”"
"Every baby is created by God on purpose, and for a purpose. Our work here is to fulfill the prayer Jesus taught us to say: "Thy will be done: nothing more, nothing less.""
