Operation Ukrainian Safe Haven is a national initiative that plans the post-arrival phase for displaced Ukrainians and other displaced people in need arriving in Canada. The operation bridges and links communications and resources with key stakeholders supporting Ukrainians coming to Canada. This includes national communication objectives, including referrals for housing offers, donations, volunteers, jobs, and other key orientation resources and communications from provinces and territories.

When displaced Ukrainians arrived in Canada, they had to abandon their possessions, creating a need for financial support. Operation Ukrainian Safe Haven works with non-profit organizations supporting displaced Ukrainians and other displaced people. By donating, you can improve the lives of displaced Ukrainians and other displaced individuals supported by these non-profit organizations.
Upon receiving your donation, Operation Ukrainian Safe Haven distributes it to the non-profit settlement organizations it works with and that are supporting Ukrainians in need. Based on their learnings, the non-profit settlement organizations use the donations to improve life for displaced Ukrainians and other displaced people.

Distribution is equitable based on government data showing where displaced Ukrainians are located in Canada.
