P.A.L.S. is a community-based literacy program that addresses the learning needs of adults with low-level literacy skills. Literacy is having the skills to use printed material in daily living. One in three adults in Edmonton do not have these skills. Math literacy is using math in daily living. One in two adults in Edmonton have low-level math skills.
Our mission is “Changing Lives Though Literacy.” We work toward creating a community in which all adults are functionally literate so that they can reach their full potential.
