The "Pass the Key" campaign is a program launched to promote safe driving habits and prevent drug-impaired driving. The campaign encourages parents to have a conversation with their children about the dangers of drug-impaired driving and to establish clear rules and consequences for driving under the influence of drugs.
As part of the "Pass the Key" campaign, parents are asked to make a commitment to keep their car keys away from their children if they suspect or know that their child has been using drugs. By withholding the car keys, parents can help prevent their children from getting behind the wheel while impaired and potentially causing a serious accident.
The "Pass the Key" campaign also includes educational resources and tools for parents, such as videos, brochures, and social media graphics, to help them communicate the risks of drug-impaired driving to their children. The goal of the campaign is to raise awareness about the dangers of drug-impaired driving and encourage parents to take an active role in preventing it.
Parents Against Driving High also offers free drives during prom season
PADH partners with local transportation companies or volunteer drivers to provide free rides to and from prom for students who pledge not to use drugs or alcohol. We work with schools or other community organizations to promote the free ride program and encourage students to make responsible choices.
The free ride program is just one of the many initiatives that PADH may offer to prevent drug-impaired driving and promote safe driving habits among teenagers. By providing a safe and reliable transportation option, PADH hopes to reduce the number of drug-impaired driving incidents and protect the lives of young people.
