St Paul's has been serving the people of the West End and Yaletown in Downtown Vancouver for over one hundred years.
At the heart of St Paul's is a Christian church community which seeks to welcome the skeptic and the curious as well as those who identify as Christian. We want to grow in our love of God and our neighbour and recognize that, to do so, means we must change and adapt. We have been known for pioneering inclusion of LGBTQ2 within the life of the church. It remains an important part of ministry today as we help individuals to reconcile their identities with their faith.
Our Advocacy Office, funded by the parish, provides a free to use advocacy service for people on low incomes, serving clients from across Metro Vancouver and beyond. Typically, we help about 3,000 each year and would like to expand that work, as funds allow.
Our Labyrinth is the only permanent indoor labyrinth in the Vancouver area and hosts regular walks and musical events, welcoming people of all faiths and none.
