Peel Children’s Centre is a fully accredited, not-for-profit, children’s mental health agency. Established in 1985, Peel Children's Centre serves the mental health treatment needs of children and youth living in Peel Region. Today, PPeel Children's Centre has grown to become one of the largest children’s mental health treatment organizations in Canada and the Lead Agency in the child and youth mental health sector for Peel Region.
Peel Children's Centre offers a continuum of high-quality mental health services, with over 35 specialized programs including: Crisis Response; Individual and Group Counselling; Intensive Child & Family Service; School Based Programs; Residential Treatment; Sexual Abuse Treatment; and Tangerine Walk-In Clinic.
Each year, Peel Children's Centre provides help and hope to 4,300 children, youth and their families. All programs and services are provided confidentially and free of charge. In addition, Peel Children's Centre actively educates on the impact of mental health challenges and key services available in the Region of Peel through community outreach, public education and online via social media.
