Our Mission
People, Words & Change provides an opportunity for adults in Ottawa to improve skills in reading and writing and basic mathematics. Tutoring is provided free of charge on a one-on-one basis. It is designed to meet the needs of the learners such as mastering practical life skills, upgrading literacy and numeracy skills and working toward career goals.
About PEOPLE, WORDS & CHANGE
People, Words & Change provides free one-on-one tutoring to adults who want to improve their reading and writing, everyday math, or basic computer skills. Our not-for-profit program helps adult learners meet their individual goals such as working toward employment, educational upgrading and mastering practical life skills. Tutors meet with their learners once a week for two hours at a mutually convenient time and place.
