Our goals

  • Support parents in their education role towards their child
  • Facilitate a successful start to school for parents and children

PEP offers a program that helps parents educate their preschool children at home.

The program is offered for FREE in French to immigrant families and vulnerable families. Priority will be given to families who combine the following vulnerability factors: low income, social isolation, single parenthood, newcomers.

The program offers:

  • To support children in their developmental skills learning with a large range of educational activities created and offered by the PEP;
  • To ensure a culture of learning in the family;
  • To observe and promote the overall development of their child.

The PEP is addressed to:

  • Vulnerable families who wish to prepare their children for school;
  • Parents who want to get involved with their child at home;
  • To communities wishing to strengthen family ties.

Parents accept:

  • To do activities with their children;
  • To receive a worker at home, every week if possible, and to work with her;
  • To participate in group meetings.

The program offers:

  • Weekly activities to do with your child;
  • Books and learning materials for your child;
  • Workshops and training sessions for parents as well as parties for the whole family.
