The Petawawa Heritage Society/Village is a incorporated, charitable organization, dedicated to creating a living museum through exhibits, artifacts, structures and customs that interpret the unique historical culture of the Town of Petawawa.

The Petawawa Heritage Society, an incorporated entity with charitable donation status and has been in operation for 12 years. The mandate for the Society includes collecting, and preserving materials pertaining to the history of Town of Petawawa. This is achieved through the Petawawa Heritage Village which is Situated on 3.5 picturesque acres in the heart of the of Petawawa where history is alive and ready for your visit. Stroll the pathways of the past and experience life in Petawawa as it once was from 1850 to 1910. The Petawawa Heritage Village provides an opportunity to visit 8 historical and replica buildings from the 19th and early 20th century. You will also find volunteers interpreting the history of the area through historical interpretive programming, education & publications.
We open to the public May - Sept
