About PETERBOROUGH MUSICFEST
For two months in the heart of summer, the Peterborough Musicfest galvanizes a city and greatly impacts an economy with 17 free concerts.
On the shores of picturesque Little Lake, the Musicfest, by entertaining locals with prominent live acts, generates a sizable economic impact to local business and tourist attractions. In 2010, an Economic Impact Study revealed that the Musicfest provides a $4.8 million boost to the region through hotels, restaurants and shopping.
This 8-week summer music event is funded completely through corporate sponsorship, government support at all levels, fundraising initiatives, and private donations.
Peterborough Musicfest is proud of the past 28 years and looks forward to the 29th being as entertaining as ever. The sparks begin at Del Crary Park with the first show on June 27, 2015 and ending on August 22, 2015.
