As our population grows and ages, alongside higher patient volumes and rising rates of chronic disease and mental health issues, the demand for complex medical care is increasing. Built over 16 years ago, Peterborough Regional Health Centre requires significant reinvestment to respond.

To address these urgent challenges and meet the evolving healthcare needs of our region, the PRHC Foundation launched the $60 million Campaign for PRHC – the largest fundraising initiative in our history. Led by donors like you, together we’re funding state-of-the-art technology, bringing lifesaving new services to our region, fuelling innovation, and attracting the best and brightest healthcare professionals to PRHC.Together we’re reimagining patient care at PRHC.

For more than 40 years, PRHC Foundation has worked with donors to fund the equipment and technology that form the foundation of patient care at Peterborough Regional Health Centre.

We’ve supported capital equipment and projects, patient comforts and programs, and staff education. We’ve brought lifesaving new services to our region, helped PRHC attract and retain expert doctors, nurses and staff, and responded to urgent pandemic needs. And we’ve broken boundaries and redefined what it means to be a “community” hospital, bringing “big city”, world-class patient care to our doorstep. 

But our work is far from finished. We believe our mission has never been more important.
