PICKERING PENTECOSTAL CHURCH

OUR HISTORY

PPC was birthed in 1964 in the community of Bay Ridges. For the first few years of its existence, the congregation met in a school auditorium. In 1968, property was purchased at the corner of Eyer and Oklahoma Drive and a small building was erected. In 1978, a new auditorium and Christian Education facility were added. By 2000, PPC had outgrown the property and moved to its current location at 1920 Bayly St in Pickering ON.

WE ARE CULTURALLY DIVERSE

We are a multi-cultural congregation that celebrates our diversity. We like to think that PPC is a microcosm of what it will be like in heaven, as described in Revelation 5:9, where we are told the people of God will be "from every tribe and language and people and nation."

MISSIONS

PPC is a church with a heart for Missions and have shown that in our consistent prayers for our missionaries and generous financial support, always surpassing yearly Mission’s goals. Coming out of the pandemic, our missionaries need our support like never before and we would like you to join us as we continue to assist in advancing the gospel to the ends of the earth and ensuring that God’s mission is accomplished both locally and worldwide!

FUNDING THE FUTURE - FUND THE HUB

Since the Covid Pandemic, youth and seniors in our community have been underserved and have escalating needs.  To that end, our goal is to create "The Hub", a multi-functional 7,000 square foot space on PPC property. It will provide holistic support for both youth and seniors with connections, engagement, empowerment and integrated programing. OUR AFFILIATION

We are affiliated with the Pentecostal Assemblies of Canada (PAOC) that has a fellowship of over 1100 churches across Canada. We believe in the empowerment of the Holy Spirit so that we can go into all the world and make disciples as Jesus has instructed us to do. We are in alignment with PAOC’s Statement of Fundamental & Essential Truths.
