“It’s a reality that the better support an individual receives, the better their quality of life – right to the end. And for those left behind, there’s an opportunity to journey through grief and bereavement in a healthy way.”
– Monica Robson, Pilgrims Hospice Executive Director
Pilgrims Hospice Society provides supportive and compassionate family-centred care to enhance the quality and dignity of life for those diagnosed with a progressive, life-limiting illness as well as support to those, of any age, who are grieving.
A circle of care that includes loved ones, before, during and after death.
After 25 years of providing specialized outpatient support to community members facing end of life, Pilgrims Hospice is building a new HOME FOR HOSPICE.
The Roozen Family Hospice Centre will be Edmonton's first, free-standing residential community hospice.
Purpose built in an established residential neighbourhood, the new hospice will include all of Pilgrims' established services with the addition of 24/7 hospice residential care.
Together we can bring hospice care closer to home.
