Since 1993, the Pointe-à-Callière Foundation supports the activities and growth of Pointe-à-Callière, Montréal Archaeology and History Complex. The Foundation helps to create bonds with the Montréal community, and provides financial support for the Museum.

Pointe-à-Callière, Canada's only major archaeological museum, stands on the very site of Montréal's birthplace, on a site that bears witness to over 1,000 years of human activity, and is home to remarkable architectural and archaeological remains. Through its fundraising activities, the Foundation supports the preservation, enhancement and sharing of this unique heritage. Donations also contribute to Pointe-à-Callière's educational mission and outreach projects. Every year, the Museum welcomes over 100,000 young people, who, through activities and programs created just for them, have the chance to discover several centuries of history, from the first occupations to the present day.
