The Porpoise Conservation Society is a registered charity dedicated to the conservation of all species of porpoise and their habitats.
The Porpoise.org Porpoise Conservation Society was founded by a group of conservationists around founding director Dr. Anna Hall, a marine zoologist who has been studying harbour and Dall's porpoise off the coast of British Columbia for more than 20 years.
There are only seven species of porpoise. They are not as popular as some of their more charismatic whale and dolphin cousins, and yet porpoises can be found in many parts of the world and play a significant role in their ecosystems.
The Porpoise Conservation Society is dedicated to raising awareness, conducting scientific research and contributing to the long-term survival of all porpoise species through community engagement.
