Prairie Harbour is an emergency shelter for women and children experiencing domestic and or family violence. Offering 24-hour, 7 day a week accommodations to help support and empower women to live free from abuse. We strive to promote empowerment, build self-esteem and confidence by providing individual counselling, educational and support groups and workshops.

We receive the majority of our funding from Family Violence Prevention Program, which falls under Department of Families, Status of Women. We also apply for various grant to be able to provide additional staffing, programs and services. We count heavily on private donations.
