Our vision is to achieve 100% access to justice across Ontario. Our Free Legal Advice Hotline is the central pillar of this commitment, providing essential, low-barrier legal assistance to low-income Ontarians who cannot afford a lawyer.
The Hotline is a convenient way for low-income Ontarians to get help with everyday civil legal problems, including:
- Employment issues (Work/Employment)
- Housing issues
- Consumer debt and protection problems (Consumer Protection)
- Corporate law for small businesses, non-profits, and charities
- Powers of Attorney
- Civil procedure (suing or being sued in civil court)*
We also help:
- Children experiencing problems at school
- Families with health-harming legal problems
- Victims of workplace sexual harassment
