Our Mission
The Canadian Art Preservation Foundation exists to collect, preserve and promote Canadian artists and artisans.
As we grow as an organization, we will exhibit and interpret the visual artistic heritage of British Columbia in relation to national and international art, and share it with the public through exhibitions and educational programs.
The Canadian Art Preservation Foundation is currently focusing on its collection, ensuring that excellent pieces of art are acquired before they are abandoned or destroyed. We plan to share these works with the public on our website.
We were incorporated on December 17th, 2020.
We have created connections to you through our new website.
We have acquired donations of artworks from significant 20th Century artists such as Barry V. Downs, Michael Morris, Robert Young, Claude Breeze, Gordon Smith, Takao Tanabe, Joseph Plaskett, Jane Adams, Sherry Grauer, and others.
We have established temporary safe storage for these Gifts in Kind.
Every donation regardless of size makes a difference. A donation from you would be greatly appreciated. Monetary donations over $40 and gifts in kind over $100 will receive a tax receipt.
