In 2024, the Government of Saskatchewan announced the development of a new 60-bed integrated healthcare facility in Watson to replace the aging 52-bed Quill Plains Centennial Lodge. This new building replaces the Centennial Lodge expansion and refurbishment announced in 2021, and will better serve our region for decades.
Our foundation works closely with the Saskatchewan Health Authority to purchase medical furniture and fixtures for the Quill Plains Centennial Lodge and Watson Community Centre. These new purchases can be moved to the new facility, once built.
