Quinte West Youth Centre is THE Centre for fun, resources and skill development for ALL youth ages 10-18 in Quinte West.
Our Centre serves all of Quinte West, and our youth range from 10-18 years old. Our mission is to be a safe, inclusive and welcoming space dedicated to empowering the youth of Quinte West while providing opportunities for growth within each youth through need-based programing.
The Centre offers programs specific to sports and recreation, mental health and wellness, life skills, community engagement, food insecurity, homelessness and LGBTQ+ youth and their allies. While we are open to everyone, our emphasis is on engaging with youth who are not typically involved in extracurricular activities at school or the community; these are youth who may be at risk of dropping out, teen pregnancy, involvement in the criminal justice system, low income families and youth who feel excluded within the community.
