Creating safe, inclusive spaces for 2SLGBTQ+ youth and seniors to connect, belong, and thrive in community.
Rainbow Community Places addresses and prevents problems experienced by members of the 2SLGBTQIA+ community by providing structured programs towards resolving issues specific to the 2SLGBTQIA+ community, including homophobia, transphobia, and related heath, safety and social issues. We run two programs: Toby's Place and Dorothy's Place. Toby's Place is a drop-in program supporting 2SLGBTQIA+ youth 20 and under through workshops, community meals, games, karaoke, crafts, and more. It meets on Mondays from 3:30 to 8:30 pm. Dorothy's Place is a drop-in lunch program supporting 2SLGBTQIA+ adults 55+ through workshops, education, social experience, and more. It meets on Mondays from 11:30 am to 2 pm.
