Manitoulin Metal is returning to FIRST Robotics competition, and we hope to make you proud! It’s not just private and big southern schools that can win at Robotics! Your Manitoulin Team won the Impact Finalist Award at the World Championships in 2023 and the World Championships Sustainability Award in 2024. In 2025, the team was a Finalist at the McMaster Regional competition and won the STEMley cup.

Manitoulin Metal gives back to the community whenever possible by attending festivals, holding robotics and coding workshops, running a community robotics program, doing community clean-ups, visiting elementary schools, doing book readings, supporting tech help for seniors, and running a highly successful summer camp. We share our experience and tools with international teams in online seminars and through social media.

We are so grateful to all the generous sponsors and individuals who have supported Manitoulin Metal! The team has grown and has ambitious plans for the 2026 competition season. Manitoulin kids are so excited to compete against the best in the province and maybe even the world! The team needs help with expenses to make the experience affordable for all the team members.
