Rainbow opened with a single location in 1982 and has since expanded to include five full-time locations and two before and after school programs in the Southdale, Island Lakes and Sage Creek communities in Winnipeg.
We are proud to care for and educate hundreds of local children from ages 12 weeks to 12 years, and have been operating long enough to see some of our original Rainbow children return to us as adults - both as parents and staff.
The Rainbow Day Nursery philosophy is that "Children are our most valuable treasure". We see each child as an individual person in the process of growing up at their own pace and in their own way. Our aim is to facilitate the learning process in a safe and nurturing environment.
