The RM Society is a local non-profit charity dedicated to supporting children, youth, and families in our community who are experiencing grief, separation, divorce, and other difficult life changes.

The RM Society funds the Rainbows Nanaimo grief support program, which provides safe, caring peer-support groups where children and teens can connect with others who understand what they are going through. Through guided activities and conversations, participants develop healthy coping skills, build confidence, and learn that they are not alone.

Donations help cover the costs of running these programs, including trained facilitators, program materials, activity supplies, resources for participants, and the safe spaces where groups meet. Community support also helps us keep the program available at no cost to families, ensuring that financial circumstances do not prevent a child from receiving the support they need.
