The Eramose River Conservation Corridor: Healthy Lands, Protected Forever

When we see the land as a community to which we belong we may begin to use it with love and respect. Aldo Leopold, conservationist, forester, philosopher, educator and outdoor enthusiast —considered to be the ‘father of wildlife ecology’ in the United States.

At rare, they have opportunity to purchase 87 acres of land along the Eramosa river.  This is pristine lands with multiple differing habitats ranging from cedar swamp forest, through hay meadows and high quality mixed forests, to Provincially Significant Wetlands containing species on the province's endangered species list.

Your support could change the course of history in conservation, not only in Ontario, but nationally where the goals are high and the time short. It would also make all the difference to ensuring that our larger long-term plans get launched.
