In Haiti women and girls face significant barriers to education and employment, and receive no government assistance. Many girls with limited resources drop out of school, unable to fully develop their potential and lacking skills to secure dignified employment.

The LifeSkills program offered at the Centre for Nutrition and Education for Women and Children in Cap Haitian is a beacon of hope, providing training in practical skills that can translate into living wages, including manual trades, arts and crafts, sewing, cooking, and event decoration. Participants are equipped with practical skills and training to launch their own businesses.
