The RCMP Foundation's mission is to support community-based efforts by RCMP members and community partners with emphasis on youth at risk across Canada for the purpose of creating safe neighborhoods.
The RCMP Foundation is dedicated to facilitating the collaboration of RCMP members and key community groups serving youth at risk. By funding programs that strengthen confidence, skills, competence and character, they allow youth to envision becoming contributing members of a safer, healthier and more fulfilling society.
With its corporate and individual partnerships, the RCMP Foundation is fulfilling its mission by implementing events and business activities that generate the funding required helping build better futures for Canada's youth at risk.
Thanks to your support, since 1994, the RCMP Foundation has donated over $9 million dollars to support over 800 community initiatives across the country, and continues to make change in neighborhoods just like yours.
About Our Charity
The RCMP Foundation (formerly known as the Mounted Police Foundation) is a registered charitable organization). Since its introduction in 1994 the RCMP Foundation has donated over $9 million dollars directly to Canadian community groups to support hundreds of initiatives for the benefit of youth at risk.
Future prospects for thousands of less-fortunate Canadian youth look brighter, thanks to RCMP Foundation support of programs implemented by local community groups and the ongoing voluntarily services of RCMP members throughout our Nation.
These programs create awareness and prevention of drug and alcohol abuse, bullying, violence and suicide and are complemented by the development of like skills, self-esteem and confidence, all tools to help fulfill the desire for a better life for Canada's youth at-risk.
