This summer we are asking our community to help us raise funds to purchase a dicing machine. Manually processing ingredients for hundreds of meals takes a lot of time. Our volunteers work tirelessly at this task and we would like to be able to make their job safer and easier with this tool. Like the robocoupe food processor we have in the kitchen currently, the machine we have selected is a commercial machine that can run for long periods. It is a versatile machine that can slice, grate, and puree but most importantly, it can dice vegetables quickly and uniformly — a task that volunteers spend countless hours at currently. This machine will help us turn even more of the donated produce we receive into usable ingredients for our Frozen Meal Program. More ingredients = more meals for the community!
