When the Stonewall Community Fund was first established in 1993, it was with a vision of the elimination of discrimination through education and community involvement. Over the years the endowment fund has evolved into a nest-egg ready to create impact. In time, the interest income will contribute to educational pursuits, social reform initiatives and inclusion projects.
Funds will go to help build a community centre for the LGBTQ2S+ community and various programs that serve the well-being of the community. This March charitable organizations will be able to apply for program funding.
We're building a strong foundation not just a card house. In 2021, it will have been 52 years since the Stonewall Riots, which for many mark the beginning of the movement for human rights for LGBTQ2S+ citizens.

The fledgling committee has decided that our official launch party is November 27th.
Please, join us as we build a legacy of support, community and inclusion.
