This year we are combining our efforts of fundraising to focus on two areas that need upgrading in our library. 

The first is to continue with our annual upgrade of technology. Each year we have computers on a rotating schedule of upgrading to avoid having to replace more than two in any given year. 

Our other improved spaces project we started last year, and will take four years to complete, is upgrading our children's and teen spaces. After last year's purchase of new shelving for the children's space, we are updating the seating in the library by reupholstering the current seats we have.

We purchase commercial seating with the expectation that it will last a long time, which it does. However, we need to refresh our library from the traditional neutral colour tones to a brighter more welcoming space. By reupholstering our current seats, we are not only keeping items out of the landfill but saving money.

We are excited about both of these projects and look forward to any community support provided to make them happen!
