Reena has a fleet of 20 vans that are required every day to transport our 400 clients from their homes to their programs, places of employment and on outings, as well as to keep appointments for individuals with their doctors, dentists and therapists. This requires a fleet of vehicles that is kept busy 12+ hours per day.
To maintain a safe fleet, in any given year Reena is replacing 2 vans, at minimum. Without these vehicles, the quality of life of our residents would suffer tremendously. In other words, Reena could not deliver on its mission without the ongoing support of these vehicles.
Reena Foundation is running an annual campaign to allow Reena to purchase two new vans per year and thereby keep our fleet in good working order.The cost for a standard van is as little as $25,000 and a wheelchair accessible van personalized for Reena use costs $75,000. Our target is to provide for the purchase of one of each type of vehicle annually.
