"Reawaken that Talent ~ Rediscover making Music"
Resa’s Pieces is a diverse group of amateur adult musicians who come from all walks of life throughout the Greater Toronto Area. Resa’s Pieces was formed by Toronto musician Resa Kochberg who had a dream to create an encouraging, supportive and fun environment.
Guided by the mantra, “Do your best and have FUN!”, members participate in the Concert Band, conducted by Resa Kochberg; the Strings Ensemble under the baton of Ian Medley; or in Resa’s Pieces Singers, directed by Robert Graham. Resa's Pieces Symphony Orchestra highlights the combined talent of wind and string players from the two ensembles to experience the thrill of playing full orchestral selections.
Many new “Pieces”, who have not played their instruments in years or even decades, often express: “Wow, it really does come back!”
All three ensembles enjoy showing off their talent and sharing their passion for music within the Community. Concerts are regularly scheduled at a variety of venues including retirement homes, hospitals, condominium social events, places of worship and public squares. Concert repertoire is always selected to engage everyone in the fun.
