With so many youth being cut-off from the services they rely on, RaY is stepping up our supports for youth experiencing homelessness. We are developing new and innovative ways to deliver essential services while protecting youth and frontline workers.

The Street Outreach team is now out during the day and in the evenings to handout food, water, hygiene items, and other essential supplies. Staff at RaY’s drop-in centre have created food packs for youth experiencing food insecurity. We have developed isolation and shelter strategies for youth experiencing homelessness, and increased our housing supports to around the clock to help implement these strategies.

These changes do not come easily. We are making purchases of food and supplies to ensure youth are fed and everyone is kept safe. Your support helps us continue to respond quickly to new challenges as they emerge and be flexible in our service delivery.
