We provide transitional housing and support services to youth experiencing or at risk of homelessness, including those who age out of Care.
Restoration and Empowerment for Social Transition or (REST) Centre is a B3 (black-led, black-serving and black focus) charitable organization providing transitional housing supports to youth exiting shelter and foster care systems in the Peel Region.
Through interventions aimed at promoting the transition to housing programs that provide diverse, multi-faceted supports for youth leaving the care system, REST enlists in preventive efforts to end youth homelessness.
Since 2015, we have created various support programs that provide at-risk black youth with affordable housing and vital mentorship, counselling, education, life skills, and employment training opportunities.
Our vision is that youth will be empowered to live healthier and happier lives with adequate support and opportunities to contribute to a better society.
