Revelstoke Museum & Archives is reducing physical barriers in our 1926 historic building through the installation of a lift to both floors. This will allow everyone to access and enjoy our programs and exhibits. 

Partial funding has been received from the Columbia-Shuswap Regional District, the Resort Municipality Initiative of the Province of British Columbia, and the Cultural Spaces Fund through Canadian Heritage. These grants represent approximately 60% of the overall cost of the project. Our goal is to raise $100,000 through community fundraising to supplement the grants we have already received and those we have applied for and expect to receive within the next few months. Construction of the lift will likely begin in Summer 2024.

Thanks to 3 generous boosters, donations made before midnight on December 31st, 2023 will be matched up to a total of $16,000. This means your donation will go twice as far in helping to make this project a reality. All donations through this Campaign will go directly to the Lift project, and will be matched by the Booster Club.
